Sally Jansen, Financial Specialist
Sally graduated from the University of Oregon and has lived and worked in the Portland area for many years. She is a financial manager with over 15 years expertise in financial management and reporting, strategic planning and project management. Most recently she was the Controller for Camps Lumber & Building Supply, Inc. and has filled that same position for various companies including Columbia Sportswear Company.
What was your favorite subject in school?
I enjoyed science and math. Science taught me how the world around me worked, and math helped me to be analytical and solve problems.
What do you like to do on a rainy Saturday afternoon?
I enjoy sitting in front of a fire and reading a book. I also enjoy watching cooking shows and trying out a new recipe for dinner that evening.
What do you love most about Oregon?
All the outdoor activities the area has to offer for family activities. The camping, fishing and hiking in the mountains or at the beach to skiing at Timberline. We are usually able to find some activity that the whole family can enjoy.
